gParent and Child Martial Artsh lesson is the perfect way to spend quality time with your child(ren) and bond while practicing self defense techniques and exercising. It's not only for young children, it's a great way of communication with your school age children. You will have common subject and get close by practicing useful self defense techniques with each other.

Martial arts fitness is often described as a higher state of fitness. Practicing Martial Arts is one of the most effective ways to exercise the whole body. It offers increased physical endurance, enhanced coordination, reduced stress levels, increased cardiovascular fitness, potential reduction of body fat, increased self-confidence, improved strength and muscle ton, improved stability, better posture, flexibility and balance as you learn the martial art techniques.

What kind of Martial Arts? What will I learn?

gThe idea of leaning martial arts is to protect your self, not to harm others.h
The martial arts method that I teach is based on Shorinji Kempo which is a mixture of ancient Chinese and Japanese martial arts (Karate) techniques. This training philosophy believes spirit and body are inseparable. In this way, Kempo has been known to have three benefits: self-defense and training, mental training and promoting health.
Sumihafs Martial Arts program is designed to promote both physical and mental strength working side by side in balanced harmony. In order to use your physical martial arts skills properly, your mind has to be just as strong as body.

It's a non aggressive, non fighting style, age-appropriate lessons
